President's Message

A message from Dr. Gary Nelson, President & Vice Chancellor

Transformation in and through the lives of Tyndale students cannot happen without you.

For most students, the years spent pursuing postsecondary education are among the most formative years of their lives. That’s why a Christian university like Tyndale has unparalleled potential to prepare students to lead change and impact our world. We invest in students at a critical time in their development.

But we can’t do it without you.

Together we are able to provide students with a stimulating environment that nurtures their faith and shapes their worldview. Our students learn to think critically and reflect deeply about their faith, their culture and their mission in the world. Ultimately Tyndale graduates become people of faith who live passionately and are able to be people of light in their communities.

This Winter Update tells the exciting stories of students who are bringing the light of Christ into their world.

Thanks to Tyndale partners like you, Anne Woolger [MTS 1987] has helped to settle over 4,000 refugees from 93 countries since she founded Matthew House in 1998. Through students like Anne, you are bringing God’s love to the hurting people of our city and our world.

Your gift also helps students at Tyndale today like Ryan Richards [BEd 2009] who works as a learning coach for the Toronto District School Board. Read the enclosed update to learn more about how he teaches at risk youth to love math.

Transformation in and through the lives of Tyndale students cannot happen without you.

Your gift today helps prepare and empower Tyndale students to be people of light now and for years to come.

Shalom,
